Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi's nephew Bhupinder Singh Honey has been remanded to Enforcement Directorate's custody till February 8. He was arrested by the ED on Thursday night following day-long questioning in illegal sand mining case. Honey's arrest comes after Enforcement Directorate conducted raids at the premises of Honey and his associates at multiple locations in connection with money laundering and illegal sand mining cases. During the raids, ED seized more than 10 crore rupees in cash, gold worth above 21 lakh, and a Rolex watch worth 12 lakh rupees from the residential premises of Bhupinder Singh Honey.
