Punjab celebrates Eid; Pak rangers give sweets to BSF at Attari-Wagah Post

Eid-ul-Zuha has been celebrated in most parts of Punjab with fervour and gaiety. Before the ‘Qurbani’ ceremony of male goats, Muslims performed Namaz in the morning. Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal has greeted the Punjabis especially the Muslim brethren on this occasion. AIR Jalandhar Correspondent reports that in Idgah of Jalandhar City, more than a lakh Muslims performed Namaz. Namazis also performed prayers at Dargah Imam Nasir in the city. Namaz was performed by number of people in Malerkotla, Ludhiana and Gurdaspur also.<br/><br/> Meanwhile, the Pakistan Rangers led by Brigadier Kamran have given sweets to Border Security Force on the occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha at the Attari-Wagah Joint Check Post, today morning. The sweets along with the good wishes were received by the BSF Commandant, Mr. H.S. Dhillon who reciprocated the wishes to Pak Rangers also.<br/>
