Punjab BJP President Ashwani Sharma has said that the announcement of increased Minimum Support Price, MSP by the Centre for Rabi crops indicates the commitment of the government to provide&nbsp; protection to the agriculture sector.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Hailing the decision of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi,&nbsp; Mr. Sharma said, it's first time that the MSP has been declared prior to the sowing session of the Rabi crops. Generally the announcement is made in second week of October, he added.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Dubbing the Opposition parties as anti-farmers, Mr Sharma said, the farm bills passed recently are visionary bills to make agriculture remunerative for the farming community.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Mr Sharma said, Prime Minister Modi has always said that BJP is committed to protect the dignity of the farmers and MSP will not be withdrawn. He added, the farmers will soon understand the myopic vision of the Opposition parties and will not be misled by the false propaganda.<br />
