<span style="color: #222222;">On the first day of Punjab Assembly Session Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress MLAs staged walkout on the issue of Law and Order. The leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa raised the issue after the question hour. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that his adjournment motion  on deteriorating law and order situation in Punjab has been rejected saying the matter is subjudice. He questioned how the law and order situation could be subjudice , particular cases related to Law and Order may be subjudice. Mr Bajwa said , the discussion on the Law and Order situation in the state should be allowed by the speaker as Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann himself has said that he has a threat to his life. BJP state President and Member of the house said that the leader of opposition is raising the issue related to the general Public. He said that not only the Chief Minister or former Deputy Chief Minister have a threat to  their lives but the traders, Doctors and general public are getting threatening calls for ransom. The Speaker did not allow discussion on the issue and assured a reply from Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann tomorrow. The Opposition leaders questioned, CM"s reply without discussion on the issue has no meaning. All the opposition MLAs including Shiromani Akali Dal and lone MLA of BSP went into the well and raised slogans. The Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwa advised them to raise the issue during  discussion on the Governor"s address but opposition did not agree. The MLAs of BJP and Congress staged a walkout as a protest. During the discussion on Governor:s address, the the case of murder of famous Singer Moosewala was also raised by the opposition and held the state government responsible for it.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The session will continue till June30. The budget estimates will be presented in the house on 27th of June.</span><br />
