<span style="color: #222222;">Punjab Assembly Session began today with all necessary precautions under the shadow of COVID-19. AIR correspondent reports that the Shromini Akali Dal MLAs remained absent from the house while the only two MLAs from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Kultar Singh Sandhwa and Baljinder Kaur joined the proceedings of the house leaving the other AAP MLAs who were physically in contact with the MLAs, who tested positive after a  lunch gathering ahead of the session. The Legislators and Ministers who were tested positive were also not allowed to join the proceedings of house. Few more treasury benches also remain vacant. AAP MLA Aman Arora joined the house after the first adjournment of house.<br />''<br />''The proceedings started with reading of obituary references by the Speaker Rana K P Singh. The house paid tribute to those, who left for heavenly abode after the last session. The important papers were also tabled in the house.<br />''<br />''The  Bills, Shri Guru Teg Bahadur State University of Law  Punjab Bill, Punjab Prisoners Good Conduct ( Temporary Release ) Amendment Bill and Punjab Financial Responsibility and Budget Management (second amendment) Bill,The Punjab Private Health Sciences Educational Institution (Regulation of Admission, Fixation of Fee and Making of Reservation) Amendment Bill, The Punjab Prisons Development Board Bill, The Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition)Punjab Amendment Bill were passed by the house till the filing of news. Punjab Prisoners Good Conduct(Parole) Amendment Act, 2020 will replace the ordinance passed by the Cabinet earlier.</span><br />
