Punjab and Sind Bank, Delhi has lifted the 30th Indian Oil Surjit Hockey Tournament Trophy by defeating the defending champions Indian Oil, Delhi by2-1 in the finals played on Friday evening at Jalandhar. It is a record 10th time that Punjab and Sind bank team won the trophy. The match also saw ugly scenes when international Umpire Gurinder Singh Sangha gave a penalty corner against Indian Oil team on 46th minute of the match. Former Indian Captain and senior player of the Indian Oil misbehaved with the umpire and was shown the Red Card. The match remained suspended for 22 minutes.
