Punjab Agriculture University prepares a special crop scheme for the flood affected farmers

<br/>Keeping in view the present flood situation which has damaged crops in thousands of acres in many districts of Malwa region of the state, the Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana has prepared a special crop scheme for the welfare of farmers.<br/>The Director, Extension Education of the University, Dr. Mukhtar Singh Gill told AIR that this scheme will help farmers in suitably managing their crops in the flood affected areas.<br/>He said the University has constituted committees to know the ground reality by visiting flood affected areas of the state so that required information can be provided to the farmers.
