In Punjab, 999 vulnerable areas have been identified where special thrust would be given for conducting free and fair elections. Joint CEO Mr Gurkirat Kirpal Singh said in Chandigarh that vulnerable areas have been identified after following the criteria. He said, as a part of the Confidence Building Measures flag marches would be undertaken by the Para Military Forces and Election Observers would visit these areas and contact the voters.Chief Electoral Officer, Kusamjit Sidhu said in Chandigarh that the Election Office would conduct videography arrangements through Web Casting in 200 polling stations on the polling day. He said, through videography the Election Office would monitor the polling process.
