Australia have taken a firm control of the first Cricket Test against India at Pune. The visitors were 143 for 4 in their second innings at close of play on Day Two today, securing an overall lead of 298 runs. Skipper Steven Smith on 59 and Mitchel Marsh on 21 were at the crease. Earlier, replying to Australia's first innings score of 260, the hosts were all out for 105, to hand the visitors a crucial lead of 155 runs. Left-arm spinner Steve O'Keefe claimed a career-best haul of six wickets for 35 runs.
