Innovative steps are being take to fulfil the basic needs of the people during the lockdown, ordered to contain COVID-19. AIR correspondent reports, fulfilling the daily needs of the locals has become more challenging owing to close down of major vegetable markets and shops. But Pune Rural Police teamed up with Baramati Pattern Team for COVID-19 and came up with an app, Home Delivery, to send daily needs to the doorstep of the residents on a click. <br />''<br />''The app is sent via a link on social media and can be downloaded within five minutes. The residents can send order of the essentials through the app to the nearby mall or a grocery shop. Once the order is ready it is delivered by the available volunteers of Baramati Pattern or by the shop owner himself. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">This idea has even eliminated the need of keeping social distance at the grocery shop and also strengthening the much needed effect of the lockdown. </span><br />
