Rescue and relief operations launched at Malin village in Pune district of Maharashtra have been declared officially over on the eighth day last night.

The death toll has reached 151 with 8 survivors.

District Collector Saurav Rao said the NDRF Jawans recovered 146 intact and 5 bodies in segmented parts which put the death toll at 151.

The dead include 59 men 71 women and 21 children.

The Pune District Control Room had earlier put the death toll at 153.
