The main accused in the German Bakery Blast case, Himayat Baig was today remanded to judicial custody for seven days by Pune’s sessions court. Public prosecutor A V Ausekar had asked for Baig’s judicial custody till October 4 so as to conduct his identification process. The prosecution also informed the court that the police were still trying to get details about the fake documents that Baig had used to open bank accounts. The prosecution told Judge Swarup Bose that details of mobile calls made by Baig were still to be procured from him.
