The area of pulses, wheat and groundnut sown in the country has increased this year. A report of the Ministry of Agriculture reveals that the total area of pulses sown this year have increased by more than 7 lakh hectares while the wheat acreage has increased by 3 lakh hectares. The Report also says the area of total Rabi crops sown this year have also gone up by 3 lakh hectares.
