The government informed the Lok Sabha today that the pulse polio programme will continue in the country. This follows the recommendations of an Expert Advisory Group on Polio Eradication.<br/> <br/>Minister of State for Health Faggan Singh Kulaste stated that no case of polio has been reported in the country since 2011. Routine immunisation has been strengthened to prevent the disease and control respiratory infection, he said.
