Newly elected members of Puducherry Assembly led by Chief Minister N Rangasamy on Friday took oath. Pro Tem Speaker T. Thiagarajan administered the oath of affirmation to the members elected in the April 13 Assembly elections. N. Rangasamy, who led his All India NR Congress to a spectacular victory in the polls, was the first to take the oath at the hour-long ceremony held on the floor of the House.
