Government has implemented several programmes for improving the living conditions of poor people across the country. The aim of these efforts is to reach the last mile beneficiary in all the corners of the territory. In Pudducherry, MLA of Oulgaret Constituency M Sivasankar, participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and elaborated upon various schemes being operated for the benefit of the people. He said, the IEC van campaign was designed to make people aware of the schemes being implemented by the Union Government both in rural and urban areas. He added that the Ayushman Bharat scheme is a boon to deprived people, and the eligible beneficiaries should be registered with the scheme. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He further added that bank loans were provided to street vendors, self help groups and potential entrepreneurs to start or expand their revenue generation activities. He requested the participants to repay the loan amount in time, and any default would result in a negative impact on the CIBIL score. Mr Sivasankar distributed benefits to beneficiaries under various welfare schemes. He also distributed a one-page 2024 calendar to all the participants. Earlier all the dignitaries took the Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat pledge.</span><br />
