<span style="color: #222222;">In Puducherry, Vikshit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth workshop was held today at Rajnivas. The Vice Chancellors of Universities, Directors and Principals of Higher Educational institutions, and Secretaries to the Government of Puducherry keenly watched the live telecast of the speech of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">After the Prime Minister's speech, two panel discussions were organized. Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu, Vice Chancellor of Puducherry University has moderated the first panel discussion which focused on Thriving and sustainable economy. He emphasized the need for green energy and technologies that could not pollute the environment. The growth with a sustainable economy was the need of time, he concluded.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The second panel discussion which focused on Innovation Science and Technology was moderated by Prof. S. Mohan, Vice Chancellor, Puducherry Technological University. The students apart from curriculum should think of society and come forward to serve the people, Prof Mohan said in his address. In India the modern technological applications should have been fully utilized for textile and agriculture, he opined.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Lt. Governor of Puducherry Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan who has organised the same program at Telangana has delivered a valedictory address virtually. She called for the new condition of brain gain instead of brain drain. She appealed to the teachers to enjoy educating and involve students in the decision-making process. To provide platforms for students' creativity and innovative ideas, the educational institutions could bring e-magazines and e-books, Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan floated the idea.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Secretaries Shri.
