<span style="color: #222222;">In the Union Territory of Puducherry, the DMK party released candidate list for 13 constituencies that they will contest in the upcoming Puducherry assembly elections and named 12 candidates. AIR Puducherry correspondent reports that the sitting legislator R. Siva has shifted his constituency to Villianur leaving his Orleaonpet constituency. Former Ministers S. P Sivakumar will contest in Raj Bhavan and A.M.H Nazeem will contest from Karaikal South, the seats which they won in the past.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The candidate for Bagur will be declared soon. The DMK president M. K Stalin released the list at Chennai. The Congress, will contest on 15 seats, while the DMK will fight on 13. The CPI and the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi shared 1 seat each. It may be noted that In the 2016 election the congress had contested on 21 seats and won 15 and DMK had fought on 9 but won only 2. As many as 10,02,589 electors will choose the candidates for the 15th legislative Assembly of Puducherry.</span>
