In the Union Territory of Puducherry the downward trend in Covid 19 infection continued  with 38 new cases, being reported today.<br />''<br />''Our correspondent reports that according to the COVID 19 status report given by the health department, 24 new cases reported from puducherry, 7 cases from Karaikal, 6 cases from Mahe and 1 case from Yanam region. Except one death in Puducherry, no death has reported from other 3 regions of the Union Territory, today.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, as many as  47 persons were discharged from hospital. Presently, 197 persons are being treated in hospitals and another 99 positive cases are under home isolation with a total of 296 cases in all the four regions of Puducherry.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''And now the recovery rate stands at 97.56 % and the fatality rate comes down to1.65 %.</span><br />
