<span style="color: #222222;">In Puducherry the covid 19 recovery rate stands at 84.86 percent, the fatality rate is 1.77 percent and the number of new cases is showing a declining trend for the last few days. Mean while a teacher and 2 students of different government schools tested positive. It may be noted that schools in Puducherry were opened from Oct 8 onwards  for students of standard 9,10,11 and 12. Already few political parties agitated to re-open the schools here considering the welfare of the students.</span><br />
