<span style="color: #222222;">According to the status report from the Health department of Puducherry union territory, the COVID 19 recovery rate of the Union Territory has improved to 41.27 percent and the fatality rate is 1.5 percent only. Dr. Mohan Kumar further said that 30 persons were discharged and Presently 250 are being treated at the government medical college,110 in Jipmer,57 in COVID care centers,28 in Karaikal Government hospital, eight in Mahe GH, two in Yanam GH and four outside Puducherry (2 in Cuddalore and two in Villupuram). So far 802 persons were infected by the virus of which 331 were treated and discharged, and 12 died leaving 459 active cases in hospitals here.</span><br />
