<span style="color: black;">Chief Minister of Puducherry Mr. N. Rangasamy on Thursday evening presented the budget for the year 2021-22 in the state assembly. The budget session began today morning with the Lt. Governor's address in the assembly.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">The budget size for the year 2021-22 has been fixed at 9 thousand 9 hundred and 24 Crore rupees.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Chief Minister announced the waiver of farmers crop loan from Cooperative Banks. He also announced the waiver of education loans availed by the SC/ST students through PADCO. The educational assistance scheme for SC/ST for providing free education right from class one to college level will be implemented from this year.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">As part of phase out of Single Use Plastic in the Union Territory, the Chief Minister said that the Bahour Commune in Puducherry will be declared as Single-use plastic-free model commune on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi this year.</span><br />''  <br />
