Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy has demanded bringing Education under the State List. It is currently under the 'Concurrent List' of the Constitution.<br/><br/>At a demonstration called by DMK against the decision to impose NEET-based selection of students for medical courses, Narayanasamy said, the decision has led to confusion among students.<br/><br/>The Chief Minister said, the state assembly has adopted a resolution seeking exemption from NEET. The state has also submitted a draft bill on the subject to the Centre. He said, Centre's reply is still awaited on both.
