An awareness video on EVM- VVPAT also screened.<br />'' <br />''A software developed by the Election Commission of India was launched today through which the voters themselves generate their e-EPIC voter id.<br />''<br />''e-EPIC is a non-editable secure portable document format version of the EPIC that will have a secured QR code with image, serial number and part number, etc.<br />'' <br />''While addressing the gatherings the Chief Electoral Officer Shurbir Singh said that voters can download the e-EPIC on a mobile or a computer and can store it digitally. This is in addition to physical IDs being issued for fresh registration. He further informed that the e-EPIC could be downloaded by the new electors from today to 31 January and other voters from 1 st february onwards. The electors who do not have unique mobile number registered in E-Roll can visit the election commission website and download by undergoing a simple process he added.
