The budget session of the Puducherry Assembly begins tomorrow with the customary address by the Lt. Governor Mr. Iqbal Singh. After this, the Chief Minister Mr. V.Vaithialingam will present the vote on account to earmark funds for the first few months in 2011-12. Elections are due in the union territory in the next couple of months.AIR Puducherry correspondent reports that this is the first session of the Assembly after former Chief Minister Mr. N Rangasamy and his supporter Mr. Angalan quit the posts of MLAs bringing down the strength of the ruling Congress from 13 to 11.The Vaithilingam-led Congress government enjoys the support of seven DMK members and also the outside support of three Independents in the 30 member Assembly.
