In Puducherry 431 more persons were tested positive for Coronavirus Disease and 7 died leaving 5042 active cases. According to the COVID 19 status report released by the health department, 389 new cases were reported in Puducherry region, 33 in Karaikal, 5 in Yanam and 4 in Mahe region. 311 persons were discharged. Former Puducherry legislature and state president of the Makkal Neethi Maiam, Dr. M A S Subramanian died here today morning. He was 70 and survived by his daughter.
