The Centre has amended the rules for furnishing of information and annual returns of assets and liabilities by public servants under Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act. Under the rules, they will be able to file annual returns on or before 31st of December 2016. The public servants who have filed declarations, information and annual return of properties as on 31st of March will have to file revised declarations on or before 31st of December this year.
