On account of Deepavali, a public awareness procession is organised in Bengaluru today to create awareness on the ill effects of crackers on the environment. The Fire services, Disaster management and Home guards personnel will take part in the procession in the evening today from Vidhana Soudha to the National College grounds.<br />'' <br />''A mock drill will be conducted in the National College grounds about fire accidents caused by crackers and precautions to be taken.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The procession will convey the message of environment protection and health hazards too.
