Public sector banks will be on a nation wide strike tomorrow to press their demand for wage revision. Nine banking unions have decided to join it. Normal banking operations like cheque clearance and withdrawal in public sector banks are likely to be affected due to the strike. Banks, including the country's largest one, the Sate Bank of India has already informed customers about the inconvenience they are likely to face on Wednesday. The wage revision of public sector bank employees has been due since November 2012.
