India’s PSLV C20 would inject seven satellites after it takes off from the first launch pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, at 6.01 this evening. It has been confirmed that there would be a five minute delay in the launch due to debris in the outer space.
President Pranab Mukherjee, Minister of State in Prime Ministers office, V.Narayanasamy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan and a host of other dignitaries are at the Space Centre, Sriharikota to witness yet another journey of ISRO.
All propellant filling operations have been completed and the mobile service tower has been withdrawn to parking end which means that the launch vehicle is all set to begin its journey at the exact time. All the satellites will be located at 789 to 794 kilometres altitude in the space.
