PSLV C-32 carrying IRNSS-1F to be launched today

The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, PSLV C-32 carrying Indian Regional Navigation Satellite Sytem-IRNSS-1F will be launched today at 4 PM. The 54-hour 30-minute countdown by the Indian Space Research Organization is progressing smoothly at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikotta. The PSLV C32 is set to carry the 1425 kilogram satellite within 20 minutes 12 seconds after its ignition. <br/><br/>IRNSS-1F is India's sixth navigation satellite. It has a design life of 12 years and carries two payloads. It is the 34th flight for the PSLV and the second launch for the ISRO this year. The PSLV has proved its reliability by successfully undertaking its mission for 33 flights continuously.
