PSLV C-18 successfully launched

The chairman of ISRO Mr.K. Radhakrishnan has said that it was a great moment of achievement for the Country in launching the 20th PSLV on Wednesday. Speaking to newspersons at Sriharikota, he said that the data sent by Megha tropique would be beneficial to the Community. He said that India is second to United States which is the first one to send such a satellite to help in weather assessment. Looking forward to two more launches this financial year, the Isro Chairman said that India would be launching Chandrayaan 2 in 2013.He also said that two GSLVs having indigenous cryogenic engines would be launched next year. Commenting on the involvement of universities, he said that India would be involving universities and academic institutions to build a space system.
