Protests in J&K Assembly over Omar's remarks

Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly today witnessed uproarious scenes as the Opposition BJP members raised slogans and objected to the remarks of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah made in the House yesterday. The angry members were protesting against the reported remarks of the Chief Minister that Kashmir is an outstanding issue and the State has only acceded with the Union and not merged with it. As the agitated members continued the slogan shouting and protests in the well of the House, the Speaker ordered the Marshals to remove them out and in the process, some of the Legislators and Marshals received injuries.
