Protests linked to the outbreak of cholera in Haiti have spread to parts of the capital, Port au Prince. Hatian police fired teargas at demonstrators who set up barricades of burning tyres and threw rocks at vehicles driven by UN personnel.Some Haitians have blamed UN peace-keepers from Nepal for bringing the disease into the country, a claim denied by the UN. It says, violent demonstrations in northern Haiti earlier this week were politically motivated.
