In Andhra Pradesh, the situation has become tense in the Osmania University Campus in Hyderabad after police tried to take students into custody who are on a hunger strike. Tension gripped the campus following additional deployment of CRPF and heated arguments between the students and the police.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, protest demonstrations are continuing in support of statehood for Telangana across the region. TRS activists and supporters of separate Telangana are holding awareness programmes at several villages through out the Region. Pradesh Congress Committee president D Srinivas has asked political parties to take initiative to resolve the present crisis in the state in a peaceful manner. He asked them to abide by the Centre’s decision that would be taken after due consideration of the Constitution of the country. On the other hand, responding to the call given by the Telangana Joint Action Committee, advocates and employees have boycotted their duties at several districts in the region.<br/>
