Protesters return to Manama’s Pearl square after army withdraws

In Bahrain, thousands of nti-government protesters camped overnight in Manama’s Pearl square after the army was ordered off the streets by country’s Crown Prince . Reports say that talks between the opposition and the crown prince is scheduled today. According to Bahrain’s official news agency, Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa has called for calm, asking citizens to unite and cooperate with all political forces in the country.Meanwhile, reports say that an anti-government protester was shot dead and five injured yesterday when Yemeni riot police in the capital Sana opened fire on them marching in the 10th day of unrest rocking the country. President Saleh blamed the unrest on a foreign plot. Protesters are seeking to oust long-time President Ali Abdullah Saleh, who has ruled the country for 32 years. In Iran, Government has warned opposition against staging demonstrations after calls were posted on opposition websites for a rally today to commemorate two people killed during protests this week. Official IRNA news agency quoted Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar as saying that demonstrators they will be confronted as per the law. Two people were killed and dozens arrested on last Monday when thousands of opposition supporters in Tehran and other cities took to the streets to back uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia.
