In Egypt , protesters broke into the Israeli Embassy in Cairo last night and dumped documents out of the windows as hundreds more demonstrated outside chanting anti Israel slogans. According to Egyptian official media Al Ahram, the Israeli ambassador to Egypt , his family and mbassy staff flew out of the country this morning after the incident. A statement from Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak said that he has asked US to protect the embassy from the demonstrators. US has called on the Egyptian government to honour its international obligations and protect the embassy. Egyptian TV channel Nile News said, Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf summoned his cabinet crisis team and the Interior Ministry put police on alert and cancelled police holidays. Al Ahram says that police used teargas and fired shots in the air to disperse protesters and around 450 people were hurt in clashes between police and demonstrators who tried to invade the Israeli embassy. Meanwhile, in some other countries of the Middle East including Yemen , Bahrain , Jordan and Iraq the protests were organised on Friday in support of various demands.
