In Jammu and Kashmir, in the wake of protests erupted over a sacrilegious act in Janipur area of Jammu, authorities have imposed restrictions and Internet services has been suspended since last night. AIR Jammu correspondent reports that police had to resort to cane charge and teargas last night when the protesters turned violent and torched two police vehicles. Situation is under control now, and there is no report of any untoward incident so far.
