Protest in Jammu against Working Group recommendations

Activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement led by its President, Sunil Dimple held protest and tried to block road in Jammu on Monday against the Working Group recommendations submitted by Justice (Retd) Sagheer Ahmed on Centre-State Relations. <br/><br/>Addressing the activists, Sunil Dimple threatened to launch indefinite Jammu bandh if the working group recommendations are not cancelled and scraped. He said that the Jammu West Assembly Movement has decided to start indefinite agitation from Tuesday to pressurise the Government for withdrawal of the Working Group Report submitted to Chief Minister and Prime Minister. <br/><br/>The Movement President demanded separate statehood for Jammu. It may be mentioned that Jammu based parties including BJP, J&K National Panthers Party etc have voiced their concern against the Working Group recommendations termed them against the interests of the people of Jammu and Ladakh regions.
