In Andhra Pradesh, the agitation in favour of a unified state is continuing in Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra regions even as Congress leaders Lagadapati Rajagopal in Vijayawada and YS Vivekananda Reddy in Kadapa are continuing their fast unto death refusing treatment after the police forcibly shifted them to hospitals.<br/><br/>On the other hand, the protest demonstrations are continuing in several districts including Kadapa, Krishna, Guntur and Visakhapatnam. Agitators of an all-party committee spearheading the United Andhra movement called for a 48-hour bandh in Kadapa district ,while bandh is already being observed in Krishna and Guntur districts. Traffic on National Highways at several places has come to a stand still with agitators erecting road blockades. Commuters are facing severe inconvenience and common life at several places in these regions has been affected.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, the Polit Bureau of Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) has convened a meeting this noon to decide the party’s future strategy towards achieving statehood for Telangana especially in the wake of agitation going on for Unified State in Rayalaseema and Coasta Andhra Regions. On the other hand, the Congress leaders belonging to Telangana region have also convened a meeting this afternoon to chalk out their future course of action in favour of separate Telangana state.<br/>
