In Andhra Pradesh, the protest demonstrations in favour of unified state continued in Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra regions on Wednesday even as the security has been beefed up at several places across the state. Chief Minister Rosaiah after holding a high level review meeting with the home minister and DGP has directed the authorities to be on high alert in the wake of hectic political activity taking place in Delhi. Meanwhile, Congress MLC and Y S Rajasekhaara Reddy’ brother Vivekananda Reddy called off his 9-day fast in Kadapa. On the other hand, the state Human Rights Commission has directed the Government to provide food to the Telugu Desam MLA, Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, who was on fast unto death in favour of Unified state for the past 11days.
