In Andhra Pradesh, protest demonstrations, both for and against Statehood for Telangana, are underway in all the three regions of the state today. Responding to the call given by Telangana Joint Action Committee, activists of BJP, Telangana Rastra Samithi and others are holding demonstration on highways and roads. On the other hand, demanding to keep the state united, educational institutes are observing Bandh today under the aegis of Sri Venkateswara University in Rayalaseema region. Widespread protest demonstrations are also being held by the Samaikyandhra Joint Action Committee in Seemandhra regions.
