Protest by youth against recruitment examination paper leak turns violent in Uttrakhand

Chief Minister of Uttrakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that some rival political parties are instigating some youths in the State for their own interests. He was referring to the recent protest by some unemployed youths in Dehradun. Mr Dhami said, "outside elements are behind this and efforts are being made to identify them.<br />''<br />''A protest by these youths against recruitment examination paper leaks turned violent when they clashed with police and hurled stones at them on Thursday in Dehradun. Some youths, however, were injured as police resorted to lathi-charge.<br />''<br />''A delegation of the Unemployed Union met Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi in Dehradun yesterday, February 10. Smt. Raturi said the government is committed to conducting recruitment examinations in a fair and transparent manner. That is why the country's strictest anti-copying law has been brought in Uttarakhand, she added.<br />
