In Punjab, a protest was held by BJP workers in Jalandhar today against price hike of essential commodities and petroleum products. The protest was led by party leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Shanta Kumar and other state leaders in front of the Deputy Commissioners’ office. They were taken in to police custody.
