The President Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has said that there is an excellent potential for harnessing Swiss technologies to meet India's development needs in areas such as renewable energy and energy efficiency.

She arrived in Geneva on Friday evening on the first leg of her visit to Switzerland and Austria. Mrs. Patil will today visit European council for nuclear research.
