Union Communication and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today said, the proposed Data Privacy Bill will be drafted soon after the high level committee submits its report. <br/><br/>Addressing a press conference on the sidelines of the ongoing World Congress on Information Technology in Hyderabad, he said, wide consultations are underway in this regard. <br/><br/>He said, corruption should not be allowed under the garb of privacy. Dispelling fears of losing jobs, the Minister said the new technology may displace ten jobs but create hundred jobs. <br/><br/>Emphasizing the need for platforms like 'Future Skills' of the NASSCOM, the minister said, this helps existing incumbents getting trained in new skills. He also said, the new technology will further empower India.
