The Advisory Committee of the Rajiv Gandhi National Sadbhavana Award has invited proposals for the award latest by 30th June this year. The Award for 2011 would be given to a distinguished individual or association in recognition of their outstanding contribution in promoting national integration.

Member Secretary of the Advisory Committee, Mr. Motilal Vora has said in a statement that the Award would be given to the selected individual or association on the 20th of August, the birthday of Rajiv Gandhi. The award carries a citation and a cash award of five lakh rupees.
