<span style="color: #222222;">Vice President Venkaiah Naidu has said, promotion and protection of ancient Indian languages is very important as they offer a window to our ancient civilization values, knowledge and wisdom. He made the remarks during his visit to the Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT) and the International Institute of Tamil Studies (IITS) in Chennai today. He called for a national movement for the promotion of mother tongues.</span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;"><br />” Mr Venkaiah Naidu stressed the need to harness the power of technology to preserve and promote the rich heritage of Indian languages. He said, a sense of dignity and pride must be instilled among those who speak, write and communicate in Indian languages.&nbsp;</span><br />
