Church leaders in Orissa on Saturday alleged that promises made by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to Kandhamal victims have not been fulfilled. Cuttack- Bhubaneswar diocese Archbishop Raphael Cheenath told reporters in Bhubaneshwar that altogether 5,347 houses were damaged and over 75 people were killed in the 2008 riots. But he said the government is not giving compensation to all the affected.<br/><br/> He also demanded full compensation for re-building damaged<br/><br/>houses saying the 50,000 rupees fixed arbitrarily for fully destroyed ones is not enough.
