Projects worth Rs 929 crore approved for Namami Gange programme

<span style="color: #222222;">Twelve projects worth Rs 929 crore have been approved under the Namami Gange programme. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation in a release said, the projects were approved by the executive committee of the National Mission for Clean Ganga in its 16th meeting today. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Two Sewage Treatment Plants have been sanctioned for Delhi for creating 340 million litres per day waste treatment capacity at a cost of 580 Crore rupees. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Sewage flow will be collected and pumped to Sewage Treatment Plants for treatment. The Central Government will fund 256 Crore rupees for the project. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry said, for Uttar Pradesh, many projects have been approved with a total cost of 128 Crore rupees. While for West Bengal, two projects have been sanctioned at a cost of 50 Crore rupees.</span><br />
